URC SEN-VOLT Voltage Sensor
The SEN-VOLT detects voltage anywhere in a 5 to 24 volt range and reports it to Total Control. That covers the two most common wiring shortcuts in an install, a 12 volt trigger output on an AV component and the doorbell transformer, so a doorbell press or an amplifier trigger can bring up surveillance cameras, turn on lights, and switch a touch screen to the camera feed.
The sensor terminates in a single 3.5mm plug that goes into a programmable sensor port on a compatible Total Control base station, and status indicator LEDs on the body show what it is seeing during setup. Sensitivity is adjustable, and the run can be extended up to 120 feet with two-conductor cable, which is not included. The body measures 3 by 6 by 1 inches and weighs 3 ounces. A URC Total Control advanced network system controller is required, and installation and programming must be done by a certified URC dealer.
