URC SEN-CMF Current Sensor
The SEN-CMF detects a device's real power state by sensing the magnetic field around its power lead, then reports that state to Total Control. It is the answer to equipment that only has a toggle power button and no discrete on and off commands, such as a cable box: rather than guessing, the system reads whether the box is drawing current and acts accordingly.
The sensor terminates in a single 3.5mm plug that goes into a programmable sensor port on a compatible Total Control base station, and status indicator LEDs on the body show what it is seeing during setup. Sensitivity is adjustable, and the run can be extended up to 120 feet with two-conductor cable, which is not included. The body measures 3 by 6 by 1 inches and weighs 3 ounces. A URC Total Control advanced network system controller is required, and installation and programming must be done by a certified URC dealer.
