URC TKP-8600 8 inch In-Wall Touch Screen
The TKP-8600 is URC's 8 inch in-wall touch screen, an 800 x 1280 capacitive display that wakes on a proximity sensor as someone approaches rather than sitting lit all day. It shows live video from door stations and surveillance cameras, and a night mode keeps it from lighting a hallway at 2 a.m.
The hardware makes it more than a control surface. A 5MP camera, a three-microphone array, and two 1.5W stereo speakers give it native A/V intercom between rooms, and Amazon Alexa runs on it either voice-activated or push-to-talk. One PoE+ 10/100/1000 Ethernet run powers and connects it. The panel measures 8.14 x 5.91 x 1.04 inches with a brushed aluminum faceplate in metallic or black, operates from 0 to 40 C, and accepts the optional WM-8600 flush mount kit.
