URC MRX-4IR Auxiliary Base Station
The MRX-4IR solves the problem of a display or projector that sits where you cannot run control cable. It takes commands from the Total Control system over Wi-Fi or a wired RJ45 connection and re-emits them as IR to the gear beside it, so a wall-mount TV or a ceiling-mount projector joins the system without a CAT5 home run or a full-size base station behind it.
It carries four IR outputs, three at fixed level and one adjustable, a single 10/100 Ethernet port, and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi radio. Power comes from a 12 volt external supply. The housing is 3.7 by 0.9 by 2.8 inches and weighs 0.2 lbs, so it hides behind almost anything. An Ethernet cable and AC adapter ship with it. A URC Total Control advanced network system controller is required for operation.
