URC SEN-CCLS Contact Closure Sensor
The SEN-CCLS reads a dry switch or relay closure and reports open or closed back to the base station, where the dealer maps that state to whatever should happen next: a light comes on, a shade closes, a camera feed pops up. It is the general purpose way to bring a third-party device with nothing but a contact closure output into a Total Control system.
The sensor terminates in a single 3.5mm plug that goes into a programmable sensor port on a compatible Total Control base station, and status indicator LEDs on the body show what it is seeing during setup. Sensitivity is adjustable, and the run can be extended up to 120 feet with two-conductor cable, which is not included. The body measures 3 by 6 by 1 inches and weighs 3 ounces. A URC Total Control advanced network system controller is required, and installation and programming must be done by a certified URC dealer.
