URC TDC-7100 7-inch Tabletop Touch Screen Controller

The TDC-7100 is the countertop Total Control interface for kitchens, bedrooms, huddle rooms, and offices: a 7 inch high-resolution touch screen on an inductive charging base, with a camera and microphone built in for room-to-room intercom. The LCD also carries live video from compatible door stations and surveillance cameras, so answering the door and checking a camera happen on the same glass used to pick a source.

Beyond AV it drives lighting, motorized shades, heating and cooling, Home Connect appliances, and video conferencing systems, all as programmed by the dealer, who can also customize the graphics with room images, logos, icons, and backgrounds. Favorite Channels keeps up to a full lineup of most-watched channels current, and a Shortcuts menu gives one-touch access to up to six activities per room. A proximity sensor and night mode wake the display. Networking is Quick-Connect 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or 10/100 RJ45, battery life is three days in normal use, and the unit is 8 by 3 by 5 inches and 16.9 oz. A system processor and dealer programming are required.
