Tightrope Cablecast CBL-SXLE-UPG10 Video Server Upgrade

The CBL-SXLE is the entry point to the Cablecast SX video-server line: two playback outputs and one record input on composite and SDI, in a compact 2RU chassis. It suits a government or education access channel that needs reliable automated playout without the storage and channel count of the larger SX2 and SX4.

It runs the same Cablecast automation, scheduling, and Carousel branding framework as the rest of the line, plays MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, and the DV and DVCPRO family without transcoding, and controls routing and record devices over serial. Balanced XLR and embedded-SDI audio tie it into the plant, and it supports up to fifteen Carousel bulletin-board channels. This UPG10 SKU is the SXLE server configuration.
