Teradek Bolt 6 LT 750 Wireless Video System
The Bolt 6 LT 750 is the SDI-equipped rung of the Bolt 6 ladder: a transmitter and receiver pair that takes 3G-SDI or HDMI in and pushes 1080p60 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR to a receiver up to 750 feet away with under 0.001 seconds of delay. Feed it HDMI instead and it will carry 4K30. The transmitter loops video back out over both SDI and HDMI so the operator keeps an on-camera monitor while video village gets its own feed, and the receiver hands off over SDI and HDMI to whatever the director is watching.
Bolt 6 runs on 5 GHz and adds the newly opened 6 GHz band, which is the practical reason to buy it over older Bolt hardware: in a hotel ballroom or a stadium concourse full of Wi-Fi, those extra channels are clean air. Receivers pair to the transmitter with RSA-1024 key exchange and the link itself is AES-256 encrypted, so nobody in the parking lot is watching your monitor feed. One transmitter drives up to six receivers, and both units carry OLED status displays. Teradek part number 10-2260.
