Tascam RC-1F Momentary Footswitch
The RC-1F is the footswitch you put under a guitarist who is tracking alone. It is an unlatched momentary switch in a durable metal case with a heavy-duty spring mechanism, and the wide rubber footpad plus low-profile body means it stays where it was put rather than sliding across the floor on the second take.
A polarity switch selects normally open or normally closed operation, so it works with whatever the host device expects instead of inverting the transport. The 6 ft cable is built in and terminates in a 1/4 in TS plug, and it drops onto Tascam devices including the Model 24, the digital Portastudios and the TA-1VP for start / stop and punch in / punch out control.
