Sony BVM-HX1710N 16.5" 4K HDR Networked Master Monitor
The Sony BVM-HX1710N shares the same 16.5-inch, 3840 x 2160 dual-cell panel and 3,000-nit HDR performance as the standard BVM-HX1710, with one key difference: it takes IP video directly. Built-in support for SMPTE ST 2110-20/21/22/30/40 and NMOS IS-04/IS-05 means it can sit on an IP media network without an external IP-to-SDI converter, which matters in outside broadcast trucks and IP-based control rooms where every rack unit and cable run counts.
Clean Switch and Hitless Failover keep the monitored feed stable through a source change or a network fault, and PTP timing keeps the monitor in sync with the rest of an IP plant. SDI and HDMI inputs are still on board for mixed-infrastructure trucks, and the same quad-view display, 3D LUT loading, and switchable HDR/SDR waveform and vectorscope tools carry over from the HX1710. It's built specifically as a camera shading monitor for control rooms and OB vans that have already made the move to IP.
