Sony BVM-HX1710 16.5" 4K HDR TRIMASTER HX Monitor
The Sony BVM-HX1710 brings the dual-cell panel technology from Sony's flagship BVM-HX3110 grading monitor down to a 16.5-inch shading-monitor size, aimed at live production, camera shading, and VFX review where true 4K detail and HDR accuracy matter in a compact footprint. The 3840 x 2160 panel reaches 3,000 nits of peak HDR brightness with true black reproduction and an 89-degree viewing angle, and Sony's TRIMASTER HX processing keeps color accurate and consistent shot to shot.
It takes 12G/3G-SDI and HDMI directly, with SDI loop outputs for daisy-chaining a shading row, and it can load and apply 3D LUTs from a USB stick for on-set color matching. A quad-view display lets one operator compare up to four camera feeds or display setting combinations at once, and built-in waveform and vectorscope overlays (switchable between HDR and SDR scales) mean a shader doesn't need a separate scope box. A networked IP version, the BVM-HX1710N, is also available for ST 2110 workflows.
