Sony LMD-A240 24" HDR Monitor
The Sony LMD-A240 is a 24-inch high-grade LCD monitor for on-set, studio, and broadcast use, and its 1920 x 1200 WUXGA panel gives it extra vertical room over a standard 1080 display - useful headroom for scopes, menus, and 16:9 pictures with data below. The IPS panel holds color and contrast across wide viewing angles, and HDR support keeps it in step with modern log-and-HDR production rather than only Rec.709.
The LMD-A240 takes standard broadcast signals over dual 3G/HD/SD-SDI plus HDMI and composite inputs, and its HDMI/DVI path accepts computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. Built-in scopes - waveform, vectorscope, and audio level meters - let an operator judge exposure and levels without a separate box, and an enhanced Picture and Picture function shows two sources at once for direct comparison.
