The BVMK-M1710 is Sony's factory rack mount kit for the BVM-HX1710 HDR reference monitor, converting a monitor built to sit on a desk or cart into one that bolts into a standard equipment rack. That's the setup most grading suites, OB trucks and QC rooms actually need - the monitor fixed in the rack alongside the rest of the signal chain rather than perched on top of it.

Because it's built specifically for the HX1710 chassis, the kit lines up with the monitor's existing mounting points rather than requiring a generic shelf, so the monitor sits flush and secure with its front controls still accessible for day-to-day calibration and menu work.
