Sony BVMK-R10 Monitor Control Unit

The BVMK-R10 is a 1 RU control unit for Sony's professional monitor line. It gives a colourist or engineer physical keys and rotary encoders for the adjustments normally buried in a monitor menu - aperture, chroma, brightness and contrast on knobs, with 12 assignable function keys for everything else. Key and knob names are illuminated for a dark grading suite, and their brightness is adjustable.

It controls the BVM-HX3110, BVM-HX310, BVM-HX1710, BVM-HX1710N, BVM-X300, BVM-E251, BVM-E171, PVM-X3200, PVM-X2400 and PVM-X1800, and can address up to 32 BVM or PVM monitors on a sub network. Other Sony professional monitors can be partially controlled - input switching, mono, menu, chroma, brightness, contrast and blue only. Mount it in a rack with the supplied 19-inch brackets, hang it below a BVM-HX1710 or HX1710N with the optional BVMK-S1710 stand kit, or place it remotely on Ethernet. A small menu display lets the unit be configured and updated with no monitor connected, and with the BVM-HX1710 and HX1710N the USB port stores and copies monitor settings from one display to another.
