Sony PVM-X1800 18.4-inch 4K Monitor

The Sony PVM-X1800 is an 18.4-inch 4K HDR picture monitor from Sony's TRIMASTER line, a high-grade reference display sized for a DIT cart, an edit suite, or a color-critical set position. Its native 3840 x 2160 panel runs at 1000 cd/m2 all-white luminance with 10-bit, roughly 1.07 billion colors, and TRIMASTER processing tracks the same greyscale and color response as Sony's flagship BVM master monitors so what you approve here matches downstream. It covers wide gamuts including ITU-R BT.2020, BT.709, DCI-P3, and S-Gamut3.

HDR work is handled with selectable EOTFs - 2.4 (HDR), HLG (BT.2100), SMPTE ST2084, and S-Log3 - so the same screen serves SDR and HDR grading. Two 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI inputs plus HDMI and a USB port cover single-cable 4K and legacy feeds, and built-in scopes - waveform, vectorscope, and audio level meters - along with quad view, time code display, and stereo speakers make it a complete confidence monitor on set.
