Podcast Pro is a supercardioid dynamic aimed at spoken word in rooms that were never treated. Two things make it work there: the pattern is tighter than the cardioid most broadcast mics use, so it hears less of the wall behind the guest, and the 50 Hz to 15 kHz response deliberately stops short of the top octave where a bare room gets brittle and sibilance lives.

It is a dynamic, so no phantom power is required and nothing on the desk can pop it. The 140 dB ceiling means a loud laugh at close range does nothing. Sensitivity is 5.5 mV/Pa with impedance under 600 Ohms into a standard 3-pin XLR, so it feeds an interface or a mixer directly. The body is 180 x 82 x 60 mm at 0.31 kg.
