Shure VP64AL NEW
The VP64AL is a high-output omnidirectional dynamic handheld microphone built for field production, and it is the extended-handle version of the VP64A. The 244 mm (9-5/8 in.) handle gives a reporter reach for location interviews, sports sidelines, and run-and-gun ENG, while the omnidirectional pattern picks up evenly on or off axis so hurried mic positioning never costs you the take. A tailored response with an upper-midrange presence rise adds crispness and clarity to speech.
A neodymium magnet drives high output and a strong signal-to-noise ratio, keeping the voice well above the noise floor of a camera or field mixer. An internal rubber isolation mount protects the cartridge and minimizes handling noise, and a water-resistant grille shrugs off weather in the field. It connects over a standard 3-pin XLR and ships with an A57F swivel adapter and a 49A130 windscreen.
