Shure SM63L
The SM63L is the long-handle version of Shure's classic SM63 omnidirectional dynamic microphone, built for broadcast, ENG, and remote interviews where a visible, professional-looking mic and easy reach are part of the job. The extended handle gives a reporter room to hold the mic below the frame or extend it to a subject, and the omnidirectional pattern picks up on or off axis so precise aiming is never a worry. Its smooth, wide response is tailored for speech intelligibility.
A controlled low-frequency rolloff cuts stand rumble and wind noise, while a built-in humbucking coil makes the mic nearly immune to hum from lighting and power. Shure's patented shock-mount system keeps handling noise down, and the VERAFLEX grille resists dents and shrugs off rust, corrosion, and moisture. It connects over a standard 3-pin XLR and ships with an A57F swivel adapter, a 26A13 carrying and storage bag, and an RK229WS windscreen.
