Shure KSM141/SL

The KSM141/SL is an end-addressed studio condenser with a rotating collar that mechanically switches the capsule between cardioid and true omnidirectional, so one mic covers close instrument work and open room capture without swapping cartridges. Cardioid tightens the pickup and rejects the room for a drum, an amp, or an acoustic guitar; omni opens up flat, natural response for pianos, ensembles, and ambience. Low self-noise and an extended top end make it a clean, detailed choice for acoustic sources.

For loud sources a three-position pad (0, -15, or -25 dB) lets the capsule take up to 164 dB SPL without distortion, and a switchable low-frequency filter cuts rumble and tames proximity effect at either -6 dB per octave at 115 Hz or -18 dB per octave at 80 Hz. This champagne-finish SL version ships with the A141C carrying case, A100WS windscreen, and A57F swivel mic clip.
