Shure GLXD24+/B87A Handheld System Dual-Band Digital Wireless Vocal System
The GLXD24+/B87A is a complete dual-band digital handheld vocal system fronted by the Beta 87A capsule, a supercardioid condenser that lead vocalists reach for when they want detail and air a dynamic cannot give. The supercardioid pattern tightens the pickup to the singer and rejects monitors and stage spill, which helps control feedback on a loud stage. It pairs the GLXD2+ handheld transmitter with the GLXD4+ tabletop receiver in one ready-to-run package.
The plus generation adds true dual-band operation across the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz ranges, more than doubling the available bandwidth and steering around interference automatically for a dropout-free signal. An SB904 lithium-ion battery gives up to 12 hours of run time and charges on the receiver or over USB-C, with a 15-minute quick charge good for about 1.5 hours. It ships with the GLXD4+ receiver, the GLXD2+ handheld with Beta 87A capsule, the SB904 battery, and a power supply.
