Sennheiser MKE2-4-3C Gold Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone

The MKE 2 is Sennheiser's subminiature omnidirectional condenser lavalier, a fixture on broadcast, theater, and film sets for decades. The omnidirectional capsule captures the voice evenly no matter how the wearer turns, so it stays consistent clipped to a lapel or hidden in wardrobe, and it shrugs off the popping and handling noise that catch out directional capsules. A pre-polarized condenser element and a 20 to 20,000 Hz response give it a full, natural voice with detail that survives a busy mix.

This is the Gold clip-on version, rated at 6.3 mV/Pa with a moisture-resistant umbrella diaphragm built to take perspiration on the body. It terminates in a 3-pin LEMO plug for Sennheiser SK 50, SK 250, and SK 3063 bodypack transmitters and comes in beige for light wardrobe. The set includes the MKE 2-4 Gold-C microphone with a short MZC 2-1 cap and a long MZC 2-2 cap that let you tailor the high-frequency response to the situation.
