Sennheiser i30H-L Hanging Microphone System
The Sennheiser i30H-L is a hanging microphone system built on the ME 36 condenser capsule, made to pick up choirs, stages, and large rooms from overhead where a visible mic stand is unwanted. The ME 36 is a slim mini-shotgun head with a supercardioid to lobar pattern, so even suspended at a distance it stays directional and rejects off-axis room noise. The permanently polarized element runs on 12 to 48 V phantom power and covers 40 to 20,000 Hz.
This configuration ships the ME 36 with the MZC 30 cable and the MZH 30 hanging mount, which holds the capsule at the correct downward angle and hides most of the hardware. It is a clean, unobtrusive way to cover a wide source area from the ceiling and feed a mixer channel on phantom power.
