Sennheiser i42-S Gooseneck Microphone System

The i42-S is a table-mount gooseneck microphone system built around Sennheiser's ME 35 capsule, made for lecterns, boardrooms, and conference tables. The ME 35 is a super-cardioid pre-polarized condenser that stays tight on the talker and turns down the room and nearby seats, holding feedback in check on a live PA while keeping speech natural and intelligible. Its response runs 50 to 20,000 Hz with low self-noise.

The ME 35 and windscreen ride on an MZH 3042 gooseneck seated in an MZT 30 XLR table mount, and an MZS 31 shock mount isolates the capsule from table thumps and footfall. It terminates in a 3-pin XLR and runs on standard 12 to 48 V phantom power.
