Sennheiser i40-S Gooseneck Microphone System

The Sennheiser i40-S is a complete gooseneck microphone kit built around the ME 35 super-cardioid capsule for lecterns and conference tables in reverberant or high-noise rooms. The permanently polarized ME 35 head has a tighter super-cardioid pattern that pulls in the speaker and rejects more of the surrounding room than a cardioid, giving optimum background-noise rejection across a 50 to 20,000 Hz range.

The kit mounts the capsule on an MZH 3040 gooseneck seated in an MZT 30 XLR table base, with an MZS 31 shock mount to isolate desk vibration and a windscreen for the capsule. The base terminates in a standard 3-pin XLR. Included: ME 35 capsule, windscreen, MZH 3040 gooseneck, MZT 30 XLR table mount, and MZS 31 shock mount.
