Sennheiser HSP4-3 Headworn Microphone
The Sennheiser HSP 4-3 is a lightweight headworn microphone that puts a cardioid capsule right at the corner of the mouth, where it captures a strong, consistent vocal while an adjustable neckband keeps it comfortably in place through an active performance. The capsule is a permanently polarized version of Sennheiser's MKE Platinum element, and its cardioid pattern rejects stage monitors and PA wash to hold off feedback at high volume. A detachable cap doubles as an integral wind and pop shield.
At roughly 3.5 ounces the whole assembly nearly disappears on a presenter or singer, which suits houses of worship, theater, and fitness instruction. The boom terminates in a 3-pin LEMO connector for Sennheiser bodypack transmitters and ships in beige. The kit includes the boom microphone, neckband, connection cable, a foam-lined transport case, and operating instructions.
