Sennheiser EW-DX 835-S Set Dual Handheld Digital Wireless System
The EW-DX 835-S Set is a dual-channel handheld system from Sennheiser's EW-DX digital wireless line, built for two vocalists or presenters on one half-rack receiver. Each EW-DX SKM-S handheld carries the MMD 835 capsule, a cardioid dynamic voiced for live vocals that turns away monitor spill and controls feedback, and a mute switch on the body lets a performer cut their own channel. The EW-DX EM 2 receiver runs both channels and can scan the spectrum to build a clean, equidistant frequency grid automatically.
The digital link uses Sennheiser's SePAC codec for about 1.9 ms of latency and a wide 134 dB dynamic range, so quiet passages and shouted choruses both come through clean, and AES 256 encryption keeps the transmission private. Each handheld runs on a BA 70 lithium-ion pack for up to 12 hours and reports its charge back to the receiver. The set ships with the EW-DX EM 2 receiver, two EW-DX SKM-S handhelds, two MMD 835 capsules, and two BA 70 batteries.
