Sennheiser MMD 845-1 BK Dynamic Supercardioid Microphone Capsule
The MMD 845-1 is the screw-on capsule head that puts an e845 dynamic microphone on top of a Sennheiser handheld transmitter. Its supercardioid pattern is tighter than a standard cardioid, so it rejects more off-axis sound and gives especially high feedback rejection on a loud stage while keeping a consistent pick-up pattern as a singer works around the head. The dynamic element handles high sound pressure without complaint, which makes it a dependable lead-vocal capsule for live work.
Because it is a module rather than a full microphone, the MMD 845-1 threads directly onto Sennheiser handheld bodypacks and lets one transmitter carry different capsules for different jobs. It is compatible with handheld transmitters from the evolution wireless G3 and G4, D1, AVX, SpeechLine Digital Wireless, and 2000 series. This is the black (BK) finish.
