The sE2200 is the workhorse of sE's studio line: a hand-crafted 1 inch true condenser in fixed cardioid, with 8 dB of equivalent noise and 86 dB signal-to-noise. That is the quietest figure in the sE2000 family, and it shows on quiet acoustic sources and voiceover where a noisier mic starts hissing under the fader.

Switchable 10 and 20 dB pads and an 80 or 160 Hz low-cut let it sit close to a cabinet or a snare without folding over. It ships with the sE Isolation Pack, which is the quick-lock shockmount and metal pop filter, plus a thread adapter, so it is ready to hang the day it arrives.
