sE Electronics T1 Titanium Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
The T1 is built around a hand-crafted 1 inch true condenser capsule whose mylar diaphragm is sputtered with titanium rather than the usual gold. The result is a fixed-cardioid studio mic with 9 dB(A) of self-noise and 85 dB signal-to-noise, quiet enough for close vocals and delicate acoustic sources, and with a 157 dB SPL ceiling once the 20 dB pad is in.
Switchable 10 and 20 dB pads and an 80 or 160 Hz low-cut are on the body. Each mic ships in a metal case with a custom shockmount and thread adapter; the matched pair adds a second mic, a second shockmount and a stereo mounting bar for coincident and spaced work.
