sE Electronics sE7 Small-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The sE7 is the affordable pencil condenser in sE's small-diaphragm line: a 1/2 inch back-electret capsule in a 23 mm body that fits above a kit or in front of an acoustic guitar without getting in the way. Self-noise is 16 dB and it takes 156 dB SPL with the pad in, which covers hi-hat and snare close work.

A switchable 20 dB pad and an 80 Hz low-cut sit on the body. Each mic ships with a mic clip, thread adapter and windscreen; the matched pair is factory-paired for overheads and stereo acoustic work. Mics supplied inside sE drum packs come without the protective pouch.
