sE Electronics sE4100 Large-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The sE4100 is the gold-sputtered sibling of the T1: same hand-crafted 1 inch true condenser format, same 9 dB(A) self-noise and 85 dB signal-to-noise, with the warmer top end that gold sputtering gives. It is a fixed-cardioid studio mic aimed at lead vocals, acoustic guitar and anything where you want detail without edge.
Pads at 10 and 20 dB and a switchable 80 or 160 Hz low-cut are on the body, taking the ceiling to 157 dB SPL for cabinets and drums. Each mic ships in a metal case with a custom shockmount and thread adapter; the matched pair adds a second mic, a second mount and a stereo bar.
