sE Electronics sE7 sideFire Side-Address Small-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone

The sE7 sideFire takes the sE7's 1/2 inch back-electret capsule and addresses it from the side, which changes what you can do with a stand. Under a hi-hat, inside a piano, or between toms, a side-address pencil aims where an end-fire body cannot reach without the boom arm ending up in the drummer's way.

Electrically it matches the sE7: cardioid, 19 mV/Pa, 16 dB self-noise, a switchable 20 dB pad and an 80 Hz low-cut, and a gold-plated male XLR. Each mic ships with a clip, thread adapter and windscreen; the matched pair is factory-paired.
