Sachtler System 18 S2 ENG 2 D Dolly

The 1868S2 is Sachtler's 18 S2 ENG 2 D Dolly package, built around the Video 18 S2 fluid head on aluminium 2-stage legs with a ground spreader. It carries 2 kg to 22 kg (4.41 lb to 48.5 lb) on a 100 mm bowl. Balance and damping are stepped rather than continuous: 16 counterbalance steps + Boost Button and 7 + 0 horizontal and vertical grades of drag on each axis, so a rig can be matched exactly and then repeated on the next shoot. Tilt runs 90° to -70° with 12 cm (4.72 in) of travel to find the balance point.
