Sachtler System 25 Vario 2-80

The 2596 is Sachtler's 25 Vario 2-80 package, built around the Video 25 fluid head. It carries 35 kg (77.16 lb) on a Flat Base bowl. Balance and damping are stepped rather than continuous: 18 steps and 7 + 0 horizontal and vertical grades of drag on each axis, so a rig can be matched exactly and then repeated on the next shoot. Tilt runs 90° to -75° with 10 cm (3.94 in) of travel to find the balance point.

Set up it works between 85 cm to 162 cm (33.46 in to 63.78 in). The complete system weighs 50 kg (110.23 lb). In the box: Vario Ped 2-80 (S2303-0001); Video 25 Plus FB (2501P); Manual Pump for Vario Ped 1-70 and Vario Ped 2-80 (V4172-1900).
