Sachtler System 25 Vario 1-70

The 2585 is Sachtler's 25 Vario 1-70 package, built around the Video 25 fluid head. It carries 35 kg (77.16 lb) on a Flat Base bowl. Balance and damping are stepped rather than continuous: 18 steps and 7 + 0 horizontal and vertical grades of drag on each axis, so a rig can be matched exactly and then repeated on the next shoot. Tilt runs 90° to -75° with 10 cm (3.94 in) of travel to find the balance point.
