Sachtler System 20 S1 HD MCF

The 2073S1 is Sachtler's 20 S1 HD MCF package, built around the Video 20 S1 fluid head on carbon fibre 2-stage legs with a mid-level spreader. It carries 2 kg to 28 kg (4.41 lb to 61.73 lb) on a 100 mm bowl. Balance and damping are stepped rather than continuous: 16 counterbalance steps + Boost Button and 7 + 0 horizontal and vertical grades of drag on each axis, so a rig can be matched exactly and then repeated on the next shoot. Tilt runs 90° to -70° with 12 cm (4.72 in) of travel to find the balance point.

Set up it works between 73 cm to 174 cm (28.74 in to 68.5 in), and folds to 94 cm (37.01 in) for transport. The complete system weighs 9.9 kg (21.83 lb). Sachtler rates the head from -40°C to 60°C (-40 °F to 140 °F), so the fluid does not thicken in the cold.
