Roland P-20HD Instant Replay
The P-20HD is a video instant replayer built so one person can run replays during a live sports production. It records and plays back at the same time, so an operator can grab a moment that just happened, scrub to the frame, and roll it back to the program feed while the game continues. Slow-motion and variable-speed playback let you dwell on the decisive play, and a clip playlist builder stitches saved moments into highlight reels on the fly.
Two HDMI inputs with scalers feed the unit, with an HDMI program output and a separate HDMI preview for a display or computer, plus RCA stereo audio in and out and a 1/4-inch headphone jack. Recording is H.264 to SD card, using UHS-I V30/U3 media that can also hold logos, graphics, and stills. A LAN port, RS-232, and USB host round out remote control and file transfer, and SDI sources reach the P-20HD through the HDMI output of a switcher such as the V-60HD.
