Rode SM2 Studio Microphone Shock Mount

The SM2 is a studio-grade suspension shock mount for RODE large-diaphragm condensers. The microphone hangs in an elastic cradle rather than bolting to the stand, so footsteps, desk knocks and building rumble stop before they reach the capsule and show up as low-frequency noise on the take.

The yoke pivots through a wide arc and locks off, which lets you angle the mic to the source and then leave it alone through a session. It fits a standard stand thread and is the mount to pair with an NT1, NT2-A or NT1000 sitting on a boom arm over a desk.
