Rode NTK Valve 1" Condenser Microphone
The NTK is a large-diaphragm valve condenser that runs its one-inch gold-plated capsule into a hand-selected 6922 twin-triode tube, giving vocals and acoustic instruments the warmth, body, and gentle high-end sheen that made tube mics a studio staple. The cardioid capsule and internal shock mounting deliver a focused, low-rumble signal.
A remarkably wide dynamic range and a 158 dB maximum SPL let it sit in front of anything from a whispered vocal to a cranked guitar cabinet without strain, while 12 dBA of self-noise keeps quiet passages clean. It runs from its own dedicated valve power supply and ships with the RM2 stand mount, an RC2 case, and the power supply and cable.
