Rode SM5 Camera Ring-Clamp Shock Mount

The SM5 is a ring-clamp shock mount for camera-mounted shotgun microphones. The microphone is held in suspended rings rather than a single clip, which spreads the load along the body and keeps handling vibration from the camera out of the capsule.

It is not restricted to a camera shoe - the same mount fits a boompole or a microphone stand, so it moves between an on-camera setup and a boom without a second part. The mount measures 130mm deep by 60mm wide and weighs 105 grams.
