Magewell USB Capture SDI Gen 2 (32070) Brings A Broadcast Camera

USB Capture SDI Gen 2 brings a broadcast camera feed into a computer without opening the machine. One SD, HD, or 3G-SDI input carries video with embedded audio up to 2048 x 1080, and the host sees a plain UVC video device and UAC audio device, so streaming, recording, and conferencing software finds it with no driver install and no IT ticket.

Because the signal arrives on coax, this is the version that works at the far end of a long cable run - a camera at the back of a hall, a feed pulled off a rack in another room. Format conversion and scaling are handled inside the device, keeping the CPU free for the encoder. Windows, Linux, macOS, and Chrome OS are supported. A USB 3.0 cable and an MCX to SDI cable are included, and USB 2.0 hosts work at reduced throughput.
