Magewell USB Capture HDMI Plus (32040) Over USB 3.0 With Loop-through,
USB Capture HDMI Plus adds the one thing a plain capture dongle cannot do: it passes the incoming HDMI signal straight back out. In a classroom or boardroom that means the projector keeps showing the presenter's laptop at full resolution while the same signal is being recorded or streamed, instead of the capture device becoming a dead end in the chain. Input and loop-through both support resolutions up to 4096 x 2160.
The host installs nothing - the device enumerates as standard UVC video and UAC audio - so it works on managed machines and across Windows, Linux, macOS, and Chrome OS. Audio is either the embedded HDMI pair or the 3.5 mm jack, which serves as a microphone input for commentary or a headphone output for monitoring. A USB 3.0 cable (ACC10001) is included, and USB 2.0 hosts are supported at reduced throughput.
