Magewell USB Capture SDI 4K Plus (32100) To 4K Over USB 3.0, With SDI Loop-through

USB Capture SDI 4K Plus is the coax half of the 4K USB pair. It accepts SD, HD, 3G, 2K, and 6G-SDI with embedded audio and passes the signal through on a loop-through BNC, so the feed can continue to a monitor or a recorder while the laptop captures it. Capture reaches 3840 x 2160 at 30 fps, or 1920 x 1080 at up to 90 fps when a high frame rate is more useful than the raster.

No driver is installed on the host: the device enumerates as a standard UVC video and UAC audio device, which is what makes it usable on a locked-down machine or in a browser-based encoder. Audio can be the 2-channel embedded SDI pair or an analog feed through the 3.5 mm line in and out. Windows, Linux, macOS, and Chrome OS are supported, and a USB 3.0 cable is included. USB 2.0 hosts work at reduced throughput.
