Magewell Mini Repeater HDMI 4K Signal Extender (43010)
The Mini Repeater HDMI 4K solves the run that is 3 metres too long. It sits inline between two HDMI cables, receives the incoming signal, equalizes it and eliminates the dithering that shows up as sparkle or dropout at the far end. Rated to a 594 MHz pixel rate and 6.0 Gbps per channel, it carries 4K x 2K and 3D material and passes HDCP 1.x and 2.x, so protected sources reach the display without a handshake failure.
Each repeater supports up to 10 m of cable on the input and 10 m on the output at 4K, or 20 m each side at 2K, which turns a marginal 12 m pull into a comfortable one. Power comes from the +5 V on the HDMI signal itself in most installations, with an external supply available when the source cannot provide it, and the supplied USB to 5 V cable (ACC00063) covers that case. At 58.22 x 27.26 x 10.80 mm it disappears behind a display plate or inside a lectern, and it works with HDMI and DVI-D sources alike.
