JBL Professional JBL VRX928LA Constant-curvature 8-inch two-way line array element
The VRX928LA is the small constant-curvature array box, 28 lb, meant for hangs of up to six. Two 25 mm neodymium compression drivers sit on a continuous arc waveguide so they behave acoustically as one source, over an 8-inch Differential Drive woofer, crossed at 2 kHz. Nominal coverage is 100 by 15 degrees.
It runs passive at 8 ohms or bi-amped, and JBL publishes tunings for both. Two Neutrik Speakon NL-4 connectors handle looping. A dual 36 mm pole socket is included; suspension needs the optional VRX-SMAF array frame kit. An external amplifier is required.
