Fostex T60RPmk2CL Closed-Back Planar-Magnetic Headphones in Wood

The T60RPmk2CL is the closed-back member of the wood-housed RP family. Sealing the cup changes what the planar diaphragm sees behind it, and the measured effect shows up in the sensitivity figure: 98 dB/mW against 96 dB/mW for the semi-open mk2, on the same 28 ohm load. For tracking, mobile mixing, or any position where monitor spill would land in a microphone, that seal is the point.

The driver limits are unchanged, at 3,000 mW maximum input over a 10 Hz to 40 kHz range, and the weight stays around 360 g without the cable. The supplied 2 m unbalanced cable splits to a 3.5 mm 2-pole plug per cup, so both sides are detachable and re-cabling is straightforward. A 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm conversion connector and a dedicated pouch are included.
