Fostex ET-RP4.4BL 4.4 mm 5-Pole Balanced Cable for RP Headphones

The ET-RP4.4BL terminates in a 4.4 mm five-pole Pentaconn plug, the balanced connector fitted to most current portable and desktop headphone amplifiers. Running an RP planar balanced gives each channel its own conductor pair instead of a shared ground return, which is the single easiest change to make on a low-impedance driver.

Fostex supplies it as an optional lead for the T60RP and the RP headphone series. Keep one as the balanced cable and leave the supplied unbalanced lead in the case for sources that need it.
