dbx Graphic Equalizer
Four analog graphic EQs covering the usual rack jobs. The S Series pair, 131s and 215s, are 1U boxes on a universal 100-240 VAC switch-mode supply with 1/4-inch TRS and XLR I/O, a switchable plus or minus 6 or 12 dB slider range, a 50 Hz 12 dB per octave high-pass, and a bypass switch that takes the EQ section out of the path. Both are quoted at typically better than 112 dB dynamic range.
The 2U 1215 and 1231 add barrier terminal strip alongside TRS and XLR, a 12 dB input gain range, a 40 Hz 18 dB per octave Bessel low-cut, and a plus or minus 6 or 15 dB slider range. A four-LED I/O meter reads at -10, 0, +10, and +18 dBu, and a hardwire relay bypass drops the unit out of circuit on power loss with a two-second delay on power-up, which is what you want on a house system that must keep passing audio.
