Crestron Ultimate IC6-AW 6.5 in. 2-Way All Weather In-Ceiling Speaker

The Ultimate IC6-AW is a two-way in-ceiling speaker built around a 6.5 in. carbon fibre woofer and a 1 in. ceramic-coated aluminium tweeter that steers up to 30 degrees off axis, so the high end can be aimed at the listening position rather than at the floor. The crossover is steep at 30 dB per octave and set at 3.5 kHz, and the speaker runs 52 Hz to 30 kHz at 8 ohms nominal, 86 dB sensitivity, handling 150 W program and 300 W peak.

Installation is the part that saves labour. A toolless bayonet mounting system seats the speaker without a screwdriver, the magnetically held bezel grille is paintable electroplated and powder coated steel, and the input is a detachable 2-pin terminal block taking up to 12 AWG. Rated IP66 for particles and water, it belongs equally in a bathroom, a covered patio, or a listening room. Cut-out diameter is 8.75 in.
