Crestron Ultimate IC8-AW 8 in. 2-Way All Weather In-Ceiling Speaker

Where the 6.5 in. IC6-AW runs out of low end, the IC8-AW carries on: an 8 in. carbon fibre woofer takes the response down to 45 Hz at 3 dB and 35 Hz at 10 dB, with the same 1 in. ceramic-coated aluminium tweeter steerable 30 degrees off axis and the same 30 dB per octave crossover at 3.5 kHz. It is 8 ohms nominal, 86 dB sensitive, and rated for 150 W program and 300 W peak.

The installation hardware is unchanged, which matters when a job mixes sizes: toolless bayonet mounting, a paintable magnetically held steel bezel grille, a detachable 2-pin terminal block taking 12 AWG, and an 8.75 in. recommended cutout. IP66 rating covers particles and water for wet rooms and covered outdoor areas.
